The ‘’GIS for IoT Challenge’’ promoted by GEOsmartcampus Business Accelerator, seeks to identify outstanding proposals offering novel Innovative Projects based on the integration of IoT and GIS systems , regarding position and positioning, with the purpose of offering to Smart Cities and Smart Industries efficient Innovative Solutions.
This is a free admission Challenge, addressed to independent Innovators , Innovative SME, start-up and academic spin-off.
Aim of the Challenge, which involves as Technology Partners Cisco and Esri Italia, is to foster and promote Business Creativity, the use and integration of geographic analysys systems,joint with the other tech-platforms operating in the IoT field, favouring those benefits given by their use in order to make business and create business opportunities, rewarding those best&worthy-considered projects.
Who can compete? Anybody, bearear of an Innovative Project featured by technical or technological content regardless its stage of development, can participate to the Challenge.

The candidates will present their Innovative Solution, producing the following documents:
A) Definition and individuation of the operating range within the major section ‘Smart Mobility’: intended to identify those specificities and details of your Solution;
B) Description of your Project/Solution
C) Focus on the ‘’Innovative Value’’ of your Project/Solution
D) Medium-Long Teerm perspectives of development
E) Canvas from the Concept to the Delivery (eg. Market analysis, Vlue Proposition, Offering and Positioning, Scenario, Target, Business Plan)
F) Introduction to the Team
Candidates authors of the Projects we will select, will be offered the chance to access our Business Acceleration Program.
The GEOsmartcampus Scientific Committeewill value the Solutions accordingly to the following requirements: Innovation, Originality, Creativity, Vision, Development potential, Impact on quality of life, globality and economic sustainability, verifying the projects’ elegibility.
Projects regarding ‘’GIS for IoT’’will have to offer Solutions to current necessities, or anticipate possible needs, answering new demands linked to the Smart City development and the novel, yet unexpressed requests of the Industry 4.0. A very important element will be the ‘Globality’’, namely the possibility for the proposed Product/Service to be realized and sold all over the World. So it is core to line out an efficient business plan that shows your Solution’s Growth potential.
